Groups of Harris's hawks sometimes cooperate in a hunt.

• "Surprise pounce" involves several hawks coming from different directions and converging on a prey (such as rabbit).

• "Flush-and-ambush" can discover where the prey is hiding.

• "Relay attack" can simply run a prey to exhaustion.
